Joyfully sharing Jesus Christ with all people, reaching out in faith, love, and fellowship.

Nursery

We are very excited you have decided to bring your child to St. Christopher's. Our goal is to provide your child a safe and loving environment so that you may freely participate in church  activities.

Available Childcare
The nursery is open on Sunday mornings for children one month old to three years old. To schedule nursery care for other events, please contact Gladys Pace at least five days in advance. We keep a ratio of 4:1 in our nursery so if there will be more than eight children anticipated please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
  • Please label all of your child’s belongings including bottles, diapers, clothes, etc.
  • Please write down any special instructions or information on the sign-in sheet.
  • When picking up your child, please wait patiently at the door for the nursery caregiver to hand you your child and your child’s belongings.
  • Please do not open the door or come into the room to get your child as this can upset the remaining children.
  • Nursing mothers may come into the nursery to feed their children, however please wait at the door for an attendant to open the gate.
  • Children will not be released to anyone under the age of 15. Please let the attendants know if someone other than the person who dropped off the child will be picking them up.
  • We have pagers available for parents to use while on the parish grounds.

Health
In order to provide a healthy nursery for all children, please keep your child home if he or she exhibits any of the following symptoms:
  • Fever of 100 degrees or higher in the last 24 hours
  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
  • Runny nose with any colored discharge
  • Sore throat
  • Any rash
  • Any skin infection
  • Pink eye and other eye infections including red, watery eyes or mattering of the eyes
If your child should become ill or have an emergency, you will be notified immediately.
