Vision Statement
The Church We Aim to Become
With God's help, and through the ministry of all our members, St. Christopher's will:
- Evangelize by word and deed, welcoming all those in our surrounding community into our fellowship;
- Reach out in mission and ministry to meet the needs of our diverse urban setting; and,
- Offer a wide variety of programs and activities to attract new members of all ages, including increasing numbers of younger members who will renew the life cycle of our congregation.
Our success in pursuing this vision will require opening new avenues for lay ministries and expanded support staff, and result in dramatic growth toward discipleship.
Mission Statement
St. Christopher's will proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all persons, particularly the unchurched. We will be Disciples Making Disciples, growing in our faith, instilling hope, and sharing the love of God.

Worship
Our worship is centered in traditional Episcopal liturgy and includes Holy Communion at each service. Through its heritage, mystery and sharing, our liturgy focuses us on Jesus Christ. Sharing in this common experience allows for and encourages personal response and empowers us to serve others.
Outreach
Our Christian outreach extends beyond St. Christopher's. We live into our faith through personal, hands-on service to our local and extended world community. Through outreach we discover creative ways to use our Parish resources and ourselves to honor this core commitment.
Community
The St. Christopher's community is defined by our love, care and service to each other. Our shared experience of Christ's love transcends simple togetherness and creates a personal sense of belonging for each member.
Spiritual Formation
We at St. Christopher's are empowered and equipped in our personal growth as Christians through our common worship, life of prayer, and spiritual education.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care at St. Christopher's extends beyond times of need and crisis to include our daily lives, to sustain a healthy and vibrant community. As we care for one another, we show forth God's love and grace. Each of us must be supported so that we may serve and care for others.
